AASHTO M180_DRIVEWAY GUARD RAIL_HIGHWAY BARRIER
W BEAM guardrail is also known as corrugated board guardrail, highway guardrail, anti-collision guardrail and road guardrail. Corrugated guardrail is a kind of guardrail, which is a facility for highway anti-collision. It is the main form of semi-rigid guardrail. It is a continuous structure with corrugated steel guardrail plates spliced with each other and supported by main columns. Corrugated guardrail is mainly used to prevent runaway vehicles from rushing out of the road. It is generally made of galvanized steel plate, and different specifications are adopted according to different highway grades.
It is the most widely used safety guardrail on international roads.
Working principle: corrugated beam guardrail is the main form of semi-rigid guardrail. It is a continuous structure with corrugated steel guardrail plates spliced with each other and supported by columns.
It uses the physical deformation of soil foundation, POST and W BEAM to absorb the energy generated by collision, and forces the out of control vehicle to change the driving direction and return to the normal road driving direction, so as to prevent the vehicle from rushing out of the road, so as to protect the vehicle and passengers and reduce the loss caused by the accident.
The corrugated W beam guardrail is both rigid and flexible. It has a strong ability to absorb collision energy, has a good driving sight guidance function, can coordinate with the road alignment and various facilities, and has a beautiful appearance. It can be installed and used on small radius curves. The connection is simple and convenient, and the damaged parts are easy to replace.
Main uses: fence, decoration, protection and other facilities in industry, agriculture, municipal administration, ROAD TRAFFIC SAFETY and other industries.
